We're back again for the 2012 Winslow Railroad Day and Tucson Ntrak in close support with Dan Lutzick of the Snowdrift Art Gallery who has the ball in motion for the approching Winslow Railroad Days event in April 2012. We are proud to recognize that the Winslow Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event as they have done the past 6 years. They will be providing advertising and sponsoring the participant appreciation BBQ during the event as well as overseeing many of the operations during the weekend. Bob Hall (winslowchamber@cableone.net) of the Winslow Chamber of Commerce will be the main contact person for event happenings and questions regarding anything except the train layout operators. Contact Dan Lutzick (dlutzick@yahoo.com) for venue happenings at the Snowdrift Art Gallery and John Scott (bnsfry@yahoo.com) for happenings about the train layouts. I would like to invite vendors for 2012, N Scale vendors will be in the Snow Drift and H O vendors will be in the Hubble trading Post(Visitors Center) due to Depot going through remodeling, with the H O Free Mo Group. I would also like to invite other Scale Modelers or clubs or groups.

Last April the layout was a huge success bringing over five Ntrak clubs together to fill the Snowdrift end to end in every direction to produce a four loop DCC layout that was over 10 scale miles featuring 75 modules brought in by Tucson, Several groups from Phoenix, and Nevada.

This Countdown is not right

For 2012 we are creating a similar layout with one group in the Hubble Trading Post (Visitors Center ), we want to bring all model railroaders together. We also will have other activities like Clinics, a Swap Meet for trains and a BBQ. The Santa Fe Rail Road  Historical Society has been having Mini Meets at the La Posada. Operation Lifesaver will also have a booth at the show to educate and pass out goods. We receive alot of feedback from our participants and ask for yours.
